Bao, this post is for you...

He discussed on his blog not long ago that he was interested in knowing how people surfed to different blogs. I suggested using Firefox. Firefox allows you to open a series of specified websites all in their own "tabs".

For those of you who still use Internet Explorer (first of all, you will probably be the ones who always get infected with spyware and the like - i have no pity for you. lol).... so for those who still use IE, you probably dont know what a "Tab" is... well, quite simply, it is just a bunch of different windows for browsing, within one browser window...

Have you ever had 5 or 6 instances of IE open at once, and when you want to find the one you're looking for - you've gotta go to the bottom of the screen and click through until you find the one you're looking for. Well, what the tab does is only has *one* instance of Firefox open at one time, but places "tabs" at the top of the screen for each different website you go to...

that's not the best description to use - best way to understand is to try it. Firefox is free, some say it's faster, and it sure as hell LESS prone to spyware and viruses.

..... wow... ok, now to the real meat and potatoes of this post... "How do i open a bunch of sites in just one click?"

well, first of all.... bookmark all your websites that you want to go to..
then create a "folder" in your bookmarks, and shovel all of your bookmarked blogs into that folder.

Once you do that, a new link appears in that folder.... "Open in Tabs".... click it... it's that simple.

w00t - you just learned something new!

Until next time.......
