         My Digg.

Tuesday, January 31, 2006 :: 7:48:00 PM

Amy just sent me this email... God it's hilarious!!!
Enjoy!

YOU KNOW YOU'RE FROM 'SAUGA WHEN...

Your school puts more money and funding into sports teams than your
education.

You can't find anyone 15 or younger on a Saturday night because they
are all at Club 108.

You consider 5 & 10 (Hurontario and Dundas) "the ghetto."

You or your friend has been
considered a hoe just for living here.

St. Joes Secondary School is called "St. Hoes" for its prostitution
in the 90's and its high pregnancy rate.

You're so proud because Fito Blacko, Kobra Khan, and Kardinal
Offishall came from Mississauga.

Your parents refuse to drive you to Malton because it's the "bad
area".

The 24-hour convenience store just closed 20 minutes ago.

The first thing you plan on doing once you get out of school is
leaving Mississauga.

No matter where you are in Mississauga, you know how to get to
Square One.

When out of towners ask what you do in Mississauga for fun, you
respond by telling them that you go downtown.

On a Friday night, every Tim Hortons is packed with over 100 people
and their
sick cars. because everyone is too afraid of going outside
of Mississauga in fear that their ride will be stolen.

No matter how nice you are to them, Scarborough people still hate
you.

Brampton people say you live in the Boonies.

Scarborough people say you live in the Boonies.

Pickering people say you live in the Boonies.

AJAX people say you live in the Boonies.

In your old highschool, there was a camera watching you every 15
feet.

If you're under 19, have a criminal record, no future or if you're
just stupid as a fuck, the only highschool that will accept you is
West Credit.

If there's beef, you will travel 2 miles down the road, past all the
gas stations, over the bridge, behind the tree with 200 people
following
you, just to settle it.

You have been kicked out of Square One by security for being the
following races: Black, Asian, brown, Hispanic and Arab.

The Mississauga News posts articles featuring the new stop sign on
Creditview and Eglington because Mississauga is too boring to come
up with a real story.

You take 3 right turns and you back where you started.

You drive down Mississauga Road and fantasize about living in a
house with a 5-car garage.

No matter how broke you are, Brampton and Scarborough people will
still comment on how rich you are.

A buddy of mine from the summer at Humber, Mitchell, has his own blog. I was reading through some of his postings and came across this one which i just love.. Enjoy!

Discoveries

It has come to my attention during my studies of chemistry and microbiology that the greatest discoveries of Man have been by accident. Which is really discouraging while going to school. Every student in the sciences wants to make a discovery and name after himself/herself. It seems quite impossible though, unless you have extremely good luck. I'm not talking about the walking on the street and finding a penny for good luck, any average hobo could do that. I mean look at them, how lucky are they. Well they do have no responsibilities and can drunk whenever they want. They are probably just college students that didn't want to give up the lifestyle.

It isn't just science that is lucky. Take the vikings for example. One morning one viking, who was probably the most awesome viking to ever live, decided that he was going to pilage a village, take a virgin, steal a boat, and sail away from land. I mean this is a big descision. On his way he probably got concerned about the growing lack of land around him and that he is going to innevitabely run out of beer. He probably decides to take two lefts then a right after an hour or so. After hours and hours of watching the ocean swell up and down he probably gets sea sick and vomits, then slips in his own vomit and cracks hos head off the railing and blacks out. The only thing that wakes him up is the nagging virgin telling him that they have hit land. Using the word hit is putting it gently, he more or less just rammed a lightbulb up New Foundland's anus. Why didn't this wake him up, he was probably just tired from being awesome. The point is that his sailing skills didn't find land, luck found land. If he didn't render himself unconscious, he probably would have turned left again. Other things luck has provided Man with are: antibiotics, fire, glass, role playing, the g-spot, etc.

I'm investing all my talent in luck. I'm going to consciously try to attract luck to me. If anyone one else tries, we'll see who has the bigger protons.

*sigh*
I'm turning into a TV junkie.... i never used to watch all that much TV... I remember 2 years ago it was only Everwood... Then i moved home last january and, subsequently, had to watch what my father liked... and on Thursday nights it was the show that I always mocked him for liking - Smallville...

And November/December 2004, Justin got me hooked on Lost... And NOW, thanks to watching the last 5 or 6 shows of last season, I'm hooked on 24!!!!

I've become such a TV whore..

I met up with Justin and Theresa last Sunday to watch part 1 of the season premiere of 24... then I left that night, and came home.

I was talking to Justin previously and I always made fun of him because he was the one who got me hooked on Lost, but he himself hasn't seen one single episode for this entire season (10 so far in total, not counting tonite's episode). He missed 1 (the season premiere), and was completely against watching a single episode further without having seen that one.. So I downloaded the whole second season, in Super High-Def (each file being approx 700MB per 42 minutes... to put it in perspective, I had to lower the quality because it was too high to put onto a DVD... yea.. it was THAT good..)... so anyway, I downloaded these shows, and had him over the day after part 1 of the 24 premiere at 10am... we went out and grabbed a subway breakfast - i didn't want it, I dont eat breakfast.. but he did... so i got something small... and we came back and proceeded to watch 9 straight episodes of Lost.... without taking a break... we didn't get the last episode in because i had to go to class... I had already seen it so i burned it and gave it to him to take home to get all caught up.

He went online that night for his MMORadio show, and made a tribute to Arzt (spelling?), the dude on Lost that had a 1 episode supporting role.... before being blown to itty bitty bits by a piece of unstable dynamite that just happened to be aboard the pirate ship, that just happened to be in the middle of this island.... (if you dont watch Lost, you're probably wondering what a pirate ship is doing in the middle of the island... well, I'll explain that once i figure out why there are also polar bears and tame horses on this tropical, jungle island.

So yea.... this was just a pointless post to say that I'm becoming such a TV whore...
do any of you catch these shows?

Until next time.......

wow... what can I say? Well..... lets just ramble and see what comes out...
*deep breath*

jksfdlks,mzjd.f..

oops..
*cracks knuckles*

....hello?
Great! I guess taking a deep breath doesn't help when your fingers are the ones doing the talking.

First of all... people.. .come on.. .COMMENT! Is it that I'm not writing anything that's really comment worthy? Probably not... Still be nice to know who actually reads this thing! lol

What point did I leave off at on my last post? Ahh.. Bubble Tea. ok...
I saw Walk The Line... The Johnny Cash flick... GREAT movie. It was one of those movies where you're sitting there and you think to yourself "wow, this actually happened to someone.. incredible!" I was particularly impressed with Brain Fart.. cant think of the actresses name... imdb time... woah - she was right on the front page.. Creepy! Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix playing June Carter and Johnny Cash respectively (obviously). Their singing was actually very well done! The movie didn't focus so much on the music, so much as the actual story... but Of what music there was, it was really fun to watch and listen to... Go see it!

I also saw Fun with Dick and Jane. First impression? Fun. It was just a fun movie to sit through. The best part of the movie having to be the kid that played Dick's son in the movie who totally upstaged Carrey in the scenes they shared. Dick and Jane work all day, so they have a spanish nanny for this kid.. and the kid totally picks up on all of her accents, parts of speech, etc... Go see this one too!

Paid to Surf!
Remember my Paid to surf program that I started a while ago? I posted about it.. It's where you invest xx number of dollars and they pay you a percentage of your investment to look at ads? Well I invested some money, and increased $100 to $190 in 20 days! I should have got $200, but I missed one day of surfing. I get paid on the 20th of January, at which point i'm going to take out my initial investment and reinvest my earnings... and hopefully double those.. then reinvest the doubled amount... *fingers crossed*. it really sounds too easy to be true.. but it works! If you're interested in starting up wtih the program then please let me know via email - I'll help you get started! best part? if you sign up under me - i get 10% of your earnings.... and if you get people to sign up under you, then YOU get 10% of THEIR earnings! it really is free money.... I haven't been on one forum yet where someone hasn't got paid... I'll let you know when the 20th rolls around.

I've got all the parts that i need to fix my car enroute to me at this very moment. Some are coming from California, and Alberta... now if only i can bug Andrew to let me use his garage.... or Craig.. hmm... must bug someone... god it'd be nice to drive again.. but i'd imagine.. as quick as i fix this one problem - something else will happen.... oye.. the joys of driving a 23 year old German... eeh.. 7 years and it'll be considered a classic... god i wish i could sustain (fund) work on it up until then.. *crosses fingers*

So... Mythbusters! I LOVE this show! To the point that I hate the Discovery Channel for not having a NORMAL series rotation and just seem to play whatever they damn well please whenever they want... I'll get 6 Mythbusters in a row, then I wont see it for a week.. it really is a piss off... I have seen this show in the past but it wasn't until recently that I really started getting into it..

I turned 23 last week... Anna made it up and made it a truly great day (along with new years day/eve and boxing day/eve this year! it's all being rolled up into one nice big memory). Thank you so much... =)

I've been a slave all week this week down at my mom's shop. Today I installed new lighting and switches for the work table in her basement... it was a bitch to try to find a place to put the new light switch for the new light, but I got creative and installed the bugger right into the work table... it's a great location, right within arms reach... perfect, if i dont say so myself.. and i didn't blow anything up! Chalk up a winner for the big guy! I go back tomorrow and clean the mess I made in there today, along with clearing out a corner of the basement of junk... woohoo! i dont mind - I'm getting paid for it all... and it's fun to get the recognition from everyone that i actually know what i'm doing when it comes to electrical work. Granted installing a light isn't that difficult, but not everyone knows that and will continue to sing my praises. lol what can I say? I love my attention! =P

Anyway, that's all for now.. I meant to write more.. but i'm getting sleepy and have to be up for 9am to go to my mom's shop...

bye for now, kiddies!

Yo where's the movie playing?
Up the westside dude
Well let's hit up Yahoo maps to find the dopest route

I prefer Mapquest
That's a good one too
Google maps is the best
True that
Double true!

68 to Broadway
Step on it sucka
What you wanna do Chris?
Snack attack motherfucker!

It's the chronic what? cles of Narnia
Yes the chronic what? cles of Narnia
We love the chronic what? cles of Narnia
Pass that chronic what? cles of Narnia

Until next time.......
