Well we attempted to fix my car on Friday... with no luck. We rounded the heads of 2 of the 6 CV bolts, and now they're stuck in there.. It was getting late in the day so we decided to put everything back together and try again on a warmer day.
After replacing my upper radiator hose and putting my air intake back together, my car wont stay started now. You start it up, and it dies right away... There's a vacuum leak somewhere in one of the vac hoses that i fiddled with while doing the rad hose... I'm going out tomorrow to see if i tore a hole in the intake boot, or disconnected any of the lines by accident - hopefully it's that and not the boot.
I was in class today, and at the end the dude sitting behind me was playing with some cards.. he showed me some kick ass magic tricks. Not the kind where the card is found by doing a series of moves or shuffles... but the kind where your card actually appears somewhere else.. high quality stuff here...
he then preceeded to take out a fork.. give it to me to look at. I assure you it was real... he waved it in front of my face, told me to blow on it... and stopped waving it.... to my surprise one of the tines on the end were bent almost 90 degrees!
as if that weren't crazy enough, he started waving it again, and asked me to blow on it... and stopped waving it and the whole bloody fork was bent in half!
he asked me to straighten it out... i did... he took it and started to wave it again... asked me to put my hand out, and i did... he put the fork in the palm of my hand, tines between my index finger and thumb... and the end out the other end of my hand... he grabbed both ends of the fork and started to roll it over in my hand... asked me to open my hand and the handle of the freakin' fork was now twisted!
he ended by taking the fork back, and waving it in front of my face, asked me to blow on it again, and i did.. he stopped... and the other 3 tines on the end of the fork were bent in various positions.....
outside, my buddy Tony and I begged him to do one more card trick... he flipped through the deck quickly, showing us every single card quickly... he asked me if one card stood out more than the others. I said ya and asked if i could tell Tony who was sitting next to me.. he said sure so i whispered to him it was the king of spades... then the other guy showed me the king of spades.... Tony and i were blown away... he flipped the card upside down and asked me to hold it out in front of me... he then asked me if there was any other card that I saw in that deck that I noticed above all else... I said ya... but I wanted Tony to pick the second card.. he said the 3 of clubs.. which was the exact card i was thinking of *amazed*...
so the guy doing the trick laughed... and was holding one card... Tony and I couldn't believe it and begged him to turn it over... he said "sorry, this is the king of spades again..." (which I *thought* he handed to me!!!!) I turned the card over that i was holding and it was the 3 of clubs...
like, COME ON... this guy is a freakin' mutant... he said he'd bring more tricks next week... I really wish someone would show me how to do stuff like this... but unfortunately magicians are bastards and wont tell you. lol even if you have a keen interest and want to learn, and not just know for the sake of knowing.... they wont tell you.... Even after searching google tonite, i couldn't find out how he did the fork trick (which he let me keep by the way.. i've fiddled with it all night, and this sure as hell is NOT a trick fork)...
anyway.. that's my update... i've run out of things to talk about just now..
