I really dont want to, but I guess I'll follow suit with everyone. Who knows, maybe someone will read this that wont read the other journals out there with the same information..

Around 5pm, Monday May 22, 2006, Christina Bussey & Andrew Desmond were in a motorcycle accident near Hurontario & Burmanthorpe. Chrissy died immediately at the scene, while Andrew died later in the hospital during surgery.

Information regarding funeral arrangements will be relayed in my journal here as soon as I know them.

Motorcycle crash kills two

Two people were killed yesterday when a motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of Burnhamthorpe Rd. E. and Arista Way.

Peel Regional Police say a Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling eastbound along Burnhamthorpe Rd. when it was struck by a westbound Mazda. The car was turning left onto Arista.

Andrew Desmond, 27, and 21-year-old Christina Bussey, both from Mississauga, were transferred to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The 53-year-old driver of the Mazda was uninjured. The investigation continues.

The Peel Regional Police Major Collision Bureau is asking anyone with information to come forward. Call 905-453-2121, ext. 3710 or Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Witnesses sought to fatal motorbike crash

Police are seeking witnesses to a motorcycle crash that claimed the lives of two people on Victoria Day.

Andrew Desmond, 27 of Mississauga and Christina Bussey, 21, also of Mississauga died in a Toronto hospital following Monday's incident, which remains under investigation by Peel's major collision bureau.

Both rider and passenger were ejected from the Kawasaki when it collided with a Mazda making a left turn from westbound Burnhamthorpe Rd. onto Arista Way at about 5 p.m.

Police said Desmond was driving the motorcycle east along Burnhamthorpe Rd. when the Mazda turned in front of the Kawasaki's path.

The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the car, ejecting Desmond and his passenger, police said.

Police said the 53 year-old male driver of the Mazda was injured.

I've confirmed with Jess today Andrew and Chrissy's appropriate times and details over the next couple of days.. Thanks Jess for unknowingly letting me copy... lol

The Visitation Andrew Desmond is Thursday May 25th from 7-9PM, at Scott Funeral Home. The Funeral home is located at 420 Dundas St. E, between Cawthra and Hurontario.

The Funeral for Christina Bussey is Friday May 26th at 11AM, at City Center Baptist Church. The Church is located at 1075 Eglinton Street West.

The Funeral for Andrew Desmond is Friday May 26th at 2PM, at Scott Funeral Home. The Funeral home is located at 420 Dundas St. E, between Cawthra and Hurontario. (This is the same funeral home as the visitation.)

We invite close friends to attend a roast in Chrissy's honour in Drama Studio A at the Woodlands Secondary School at 5pm on Friday May 26th. After we roast ourselves dry of tears and laughter we will attend the Woodland's Artsfest. There's no doubt in our minds that she would have wanted it that way.
